Degrees Offered: The majority of students at the School of Medicine earn Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degrees, but the school also offers seven other medical degrees, including an M.P.H. awarded by the School of Public Health. The Yale School of Nursing, a separate school within the university, offers two degrees. The Physician Associate Program offers an M.M.Sc.

Areas of Study and Specialization: Among its divisions are one of the nation’s oldest schools of public health and the internationally recognized Child Study Center, founded in 1911. Its Yale Cancer Center is one of 41 comprehensive cancer centers designated by the National Cancer Institute, and its Yale Center for Clinical Investigation was one of the first 12 institutions to launch the Clinical and Translational Science Awards program in 2006. Its 33 academic departments include 10 in the basic sciences, 18 in clinical fields, and 5 in public health.

REFLECTION: I would like to attend this school i mean who wouldn’t right? I don’t think i could qualify for this school because it’s a really great school and i messed my GPA to enter but that’s okay i could go to a community and then transfer.
